WAIKARI COLLIE CLUB.
A meeting of the committee of the Waikari Coilie Club was held in the Hawarden Hall on Friday. In memory of Mr J. K. Forrester the club , decided to procure a cup to be known as the J. K. Forrester Memorial Cup for competition, the cup to be given to the man scoring most points at the meeting. The advisability of embodying a two-dog event in the programme was considered, but after discussion it was'held over in the meantime. 'the Sheep Committee were authorised to procure sheep for the coming trials and to buy. them if necessary. Mr O. T. Evans offered his assistance. Messrs McKeegan and Trumper were appointed to arrange for the catering. Mr H. M. Anderson gave the use of grounds for the. trials. Mr E. Pawsey offered to give a cup for Class 3, and a cup for Class 2 was promised.
