LATE MR H. M. LUND.
THE. FUNERAL. Mr Hi. M. Lund, was bulled yesterday afternoon at the Waimairi Cemetery. At his own request the funeral was held privately. The Rev. F. B. Redgrave conducted a brief service at the graveside. Tho pall-bearers were Mr Ernest Empson, Mr Sidney Williamson, ilr Eric Lund, Mr E. S. Lund, Mr R. Luud. and Mr Oliver Duff. Wreaths were sent by Mr and Mrs 7*' A Home and David, Mr and Mrs tJ ~ Anderson and family, M. Jjuttrell, Aancy Campbell, Professor and Mrs Shelley, the Music Teachers' Association of New Zealand (CanterDlvlsl0n ), Mr and Mrs Sidney Williamson, Mr and Mrs Cookson and family, Mrs Holford and Elsy, A and W. Brock, Dr. and Mrs J. C. Bradshaw, Dr. and Mrs Hight and Doreen. Madame Gower Burns, the Editor and Literary Staff of The Pbess, the Manager and Staffs of The Pheb3, S. and A. Hewitt, Mrs H. A. Glasson and Manorie, the Christchurch Liedertafel, Mrs E. Tatham Shores, Mrs Robert • Malcolm and Miss Musker, Poppy Wyles, Mr and Mrs J. N. Ormerod and daughters Mr and Mrs V. C Peters, Mrs Harold Biggs, and the Music Teachers' Association of New Zealand (Wellington branch). At the practice of the Christchurch Male Voice Choir last evening the conductor, Dr. J. C. Bradshaw, referred to the loss the City had sustained through the death of Mr H. M. Lund, the veteran musical critic. A vote of sympathy with tho bereaved family wascarried, tho choir members standing in silence.
