Herr Adolf Winter, who is at present in prison at Jena for swindling, represents fanatics who believo in the revalorisation of a particular series oi old mark banknotes stamped red. Many Nationalists are expected to vote for President Hindcnburg. The Nazis' strength and efficiency of organisation are astonishing, leading to doubts as to whether President Hindcnburg will obtain an absolute majority on the first ballot. For tlio German Presidential election President von Ilindenberg lias been designated as a Constitutionalist, Herr Adolf Hitler as a Fascist, Dr. Dusterberg as a Nationalist the Steel Helmet candidate, Herr Thalmann, as a Communist, and Herr Winter as an Independent. T „ Tho Prussian Minister for the Interior has lifted the ban on public demonstrations for a week. Hunrdeds of meetings are being lie d on President von Hindcnberg's behalf.
