PROHIBITION IN AMERICA.
* STRAW VOTE FAVOURS REPEAL. (UNITED PKESS ASSOCIATION—BI. ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT.) NEW YORK, March 4. The "Literary Digest," in its straw vote on the Prohibition question, issued 20,000,000 ballots asking if the voters favoured, continuance or the repeal of the 19th Amendment. Seventy-seven per cent, of the votes thus far anulysed favour repeal. Kansas is the only State so far reporting "Dry."
