CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING AT NEW BRIGHTON. At a meeting of the Racing Committee of the Pioneer Sports Qlub, to ootisidor raattei& in connexion with next Saturday's championship meeting to be held at New Brighton, the chairman (Mr R. H. Parker) reported that the Auto-Cycle Union bad foru aided the official blue riband for presentation to the winner of the classic event, whioh it was decided should be presented at the conclusion of the race. He added that the entries which had been received for this meeting were the largest and most representutive ever received in the history of the club, to which he attributed the holding of Li° l l e en. n c "^ m Pi° n8 hip.
