REFRESHER COURSES. Low clouds on Saturday morning made conditions unsatisfactory for flying at Wigram Aerodrome, and the refresher course of the No. 2 (Bomber) Squadron, of the Ne»y Zealand Air Force, finished inauspiciously. The course Was a most successful one from all points of view, and all the pilots did a good .deal of flying, most of them completing, several hours with Bristol fighters, the service type of aeroplane. All except one or two paid two visits to Lake Ellesmere, and on each occasion had practice in machine-gunning and bombing. The usual classes in rigging, engines, gun-

nery, navigation, and wireless were held. , New Course Begins To-day. The course for No. 4 (Army Cooperation) Squadron will begin to-day. The work will, be different from that of the last two squadrons, which have completed courses, as both of these were bomber. squadrons. The Army Gooperation officers will concentrate on signalling to and from the ground with wireless and lamps, on pickin to up mesr sages, and on map work. The course will continue until Wednesday week, and. on the following Friday, permanent Air Force officers will fly several aerdplanes to Auckland, calling in at Wanganui, where the official North Island air pageant is being held. - The officers of the No. 4 Squadron, beginning their course to-day, an as follows:—Flight Lieutenant" T.
