KAIKOURA SHOW.
INCREASE OF ENTRIES. GOOD SPECIMENS OF BOOT CROPS. The twenty-sixth annual show' of the Kaikoura Agricultural and Pastoral Association took place on Friday, on the Show Grounds, and in the Drill Hall, in beautiful weather, with a good attendance. The president (Mr It. Laidlaw), the secretary (Mr W. *'• I'errin), and the ofißcials are to be congratulated on the success of the annual event, and on the excellent arrangements. The entries were slignt'y in excess of the previous year, not taking into consideration the post entries and competitions. In the band room, the children uis played an excellent collection of blacs and white drawings, carton work, plasticine work and writing, while in the adult section there were some fine examples of black and white work and oil colours. r „„ rt „ The cattle section was poorly r e sented, but the qual.ty was .good, lje light horse section was an exceptionally good class, but the draughts were not as numerous as in previous years.
