The Wairarapa Aero Club's aeroplan* ZKAAM was totally destroyed to» day while being piloted in fast flying test flights by Flying . Officer.J. & Buckeridge. The machine was speeding at 11* miles an hour close to the ground when it touched. This brought- the under-carriage back, and threw tn« machine on its nose. - The. propellofr v smashed off, the engine raced, and. tU machine burst in flamesA Flying Officer . Buckeridge jumped out and escaped serious injury, though he suffered abrasions.
