Aftipflg the many messages received by Mr John Miller, Mayor of InvercaTgill, in the last day or two is one from a former Inverpprgill horse trainer, Mr P. T. Ifogan, who telegraphed from Washdyka: "As good a comeback as Golden King's." To those of the sporting fraternity Who remember the gelding Golden King, the significance of the message will appeal (payathe Southland "Times"). 'Golden King made a good "comeback" on the turf and much of the credit was due to Mr Miller, vrho,_in hi? professional opacity as a veterinary eurgeen, 4i4 TO«oh in restoring the animal?* good health.
