Tlie death has occurred of Mrs Thomas \?atsoo, a very old identity of Crushjagton, near Eeefton, aged 80 years. She yd resided in the district for 60 years, jnd is survived by five sons and two isogbters. Tte death took place at the Wcstland Hospital on Saturday of Mr Thomas Webb, of Kanieri. He was 53 years cf ige. He leaves a Trido*.v, two daughters, jjid two- sons. Tlte death occurred to-day at the ffestland Hospital of Mr William Jones, i farmer at Kokatahi, aged 51. He had been ailing for some considerable timo. Eg.is survived by his widow, two daughters and one and also three brothers. Motor Accident. A motor accident happened at Rimu pill near Hokitika on Friday night lrhen a motor-lorry owned by Mr L. Goodh, of Hokitika, swung off the road sad overturned in a .ditch.
