ODDFELLOWS' LODGE. Tho annual, visit of the North Canterbury District to the Loyal City of Norwich Lodge will take place to-night. Visitors from tho Peninsula Lodges in tho Lyttelton District and from the Loyal Kaia Tow (Ladies') Lodge will also bo present. Borough Council, * An informal meeting of the newly elected borough councillors, convened by the Mayor-elect'.(Mr r; E. Sutton),' was held last evening 'to discuss the ' formation of the various committees, j Tho Mayor and councillors will bo installed to-'uiorrow night, arid the.-first' j regular meeting will bo held on Monday next. Golf. A Canadian mixed foursome played at Diamond Harbour on Sunday for the Brown Shield resulted in a tie between t L. Gant > and Mrs W. Paton and D. Gower and Miss V. Gower. A play-off j will be necessary. On Saturday afternoon members Of the Diamond Harbour Club, took the opportunity of ono of the foundation members, Mr J. H. Collins, on tho attainment of his" seventieth birthday. The following will represent the'Lyttelton Ladies' Club against Avondale at Charteris Bay, on Thursday:—Miss E. Aycrs, Mrs H. E. Ayers, Miss P.
