SHARP EARTHQUAKE.

alarm in rotorua, (lEE3S A3SOCH.TIOH TSLEGRAM.) ROTORUA, May 11. A sharp earthquake was felt here at 5.50 p.m. It had a jolting motion and commenced with a load report. It was the most severe earthquake since February. 3rd, but was of quite a different tvpe. Apparently it W&a of local origin, as other parts of tjie district report that it was not folt. Some atom was caused hare, but no damage was done.
