GUIDES AND SCOUTS.
TO THE EDrrOB or THE PRESS. i Sir,—After witnessing the great display • givenby the Scouts, and ' Guides last Saturday I was particularly struck with the number of-useful thipgs which are taken up as part ofthework. The Scouts are .taught many things whichN are of great value to them, in life, and the Guides are * most fortunate in being able to learn first-aid work. This apparently appeals to the Guide?., judging by the splendid display of first-aid work' they gave, and it reflects , the greatest, credit on them and also on the instructors. As go much interest was taken -in the whole, turn-out, would it not be, a good-.idea to make a similar display each year?— Yours, etc., <• NELSON. March 11th,; 1931.
