The Qhrietchurch Public Service athletic meeting •waß i held yosterday «t the Sunnyside grounds, competitors , ftom the various branches'of. the service' in' Obristchurch taking part., JJJfre,entries were good, and there was a fair attendance, although the light rain which fell :in the letter part of the meeting tended" to make th/v track slow. The- Public Service Association- Shjeld was won by' Old Government Buildings with 62 points, , Sunnyside Igaining ,26, New Government Buildings'l9, and Public Trust 15.
