It Ifl announced that in future a' steamer will leave Halifax or Montreal., according to the season, every month', instead of every four , weeks, and \yill, pall at New Zealand ports before',proceeding to Australia to complete discharge. ,The discharging porta will be Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunediti, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, while in New Zealand the vessels will load for New York, Boston, and Halifax or Montreal as' usual, but they will proceed to thwe ports from Australia. The first. steamer in tha new service is'the Canadian Conqueror, which, left-Halifax for Auckland on March3rd. She will bo followed by the Can-; iidian Britisher to leave Halifax on ' March ' 30th. He Canadian Highlander, which arrived at Auckland from "Halifax on Thursday, will carry - 'out the usual itinerary.
