Ten million wives have asked this question —"What goes on in the office after hours)" —and now Warner Bros..and Vitaphone have supplied an answer in the talkio ' "l'iic OBicu Wife,' 1 which will begin to-morrow at the Bugent Theatre. The film is made from the well-known Story by i'aith Baldwin, and the udflptation ItAS been excellently handled. JJorothy Alacknill as the attractive office wife does very good Work,; and lewis Stona an the employer is excellent. The whole thing concerns a business man whose secretary becomes a more important factor in his lifo than his wife, r Lewis Stone, when he had an unattractive secretary, found bis love interests outside bis Qfilee: but when Dorothy Macfeaill becomes W* secretary he neglects bis wife, Natalie Uporhaad,' who has her own lover, and doesn't care anyway, and becomes vitally interested in the secretary, who returns his affection. Things are finally settled whon the wifa seeks q P#riß divorce and the employer and tha secretary plan, to marry. The office wife makes one request now that she has become an ordinary wiffr—that she be Allowed -to ohoosa her husband's new secref#ry.
