MB PATRICK JOYCE. An old resident of Canterbury, Mr Patrick Joyed, died recently in Christi church, in hils 87tji year. sle arrived Zealand as a young man, &«<! settled at North Loburn, whero be took farming, living there until a few yam ago, when he removed to Christ* fthurob. When the North Loburn School jubilee took place last year, Mr JoycQ wan the only surviving mettibpr-of the first school committee. "There rtfe seven daughters and on® son, alt married.
