♦ 6000 JOIN IN RALLY AT WELLINGTON. [TUB PEEBB Special Birriee.] WELLINGTON, March 1. Abotffc 6000 Scouts, Guides, Cubs, etc.,. attended the rally held at the, Basin Reserve yesterday on the occasion of ,the -visit of Lord and Lady Baden-Powell. The breaking-out of Sags and salutes and the National Anthem war® followed by a parade of the Colours, Then came the Brownies' howl to the Chief Guide, , the Wolf Cubs' howl to the Chief Scout,. and the Scouts' Dominion haka. Troops were present from Taranaki, Hawkas Bay, Nelson, l and < Marlborough, many arriving by special trains. The Tamahine .was .delayed to take' back parties from the south. Lord Badeti-Fowell is a guest at Government House. He had no official duties, to-day. ,He .leaves, for Christchurch to-morrow night.
