EVENTS FOR TO-MORROW. ' With two notable visiting riders 011 the lisV a strong contingent of Canterbury riders,'and an attractive programme, there should be a record crowd., to' see the broadsiding at : the Monica Park Speedway > to-morrow nighty The two visitors are Harold Stevens and Cyril Anderson, both speedy Australians. Stevens, who has a reputation for nerve;-speed,; and skill, .will make his* first appearance .before Monica Park patrons; Anderson is making a return Both, these riders will make keen competition' for the Canterbury .brigade. Three special match races will be run. In the flrßt Harold Stevens, Cyril Anderson, and Percy , Lunn; in the second match Ernie Marsh and Norm. Gray will be' the contestants; and in the third, Ernie Pye and Jack Oakley will race' lor supremacy. The,' second and. third match races will serve as'elimination tests to decide: who . will have the right; to. challenge Poroy Lunn, who has won the gold'helmet by default from Charlie Blacklock. The heat winners-will, compete in a final on Saturday night. In addition to the events named, ' there will:,be a champions' scratch race; and threo handicap event*.'
