It was decided to reprimand those teams complained ot by tho Umpires' Association for late starting of matches, and to warn them that a penalty would bo inflicted 'for future breaches. ' It was decided to. pay the full expenses this year of the Brabin Shield: (junior) visit Wellington. Mr Page, who brought .the matter up; said that by asking the players to ; n#y half their expenses, the . Association, was never able'to field its strongest team. - Arrangements were made for the Bmoke.icoucert in honour of the Canterbury representative team,'that won the Flunket Shield, at 1 which . presentations; will ' be made to those Canterbury players selected to tour England.
