While the Queen listened though an extra receiver, the King chatted for ten minutes to the Prince of Wales and Prince George, who were at Santiago. ■' He afterwards told the Post Office that the conversation was most successful, and be was delightfully surprised at the clarity, and facility of the transmission, by which the King's voice was carried from Buckingham Palace to Rugby, whence it was wirelessed to Buenos Ayres, and thence by land line to Santiago. The conditions were perfect and every word was heard dearly, from the Prince of Wales's cheery greeting, "Hullo there, hullo." - ■ , VISITORS ATTEND CHURCH. (Received February 23rd, 7.50 p.m.) SANTIAGO (Chile), February 22. The Prince of Wales and Prince George attended service in the British War Memorial Church and heard the rector preach on Britain's great mission in spreading peace and goodwill throughout the world.
