SPARKLING COMEDY.
"GOOD NEWS" AT THE MAJESTIC Tuneful melodies, clever dancing, and splendidly arranged mass scenes are the features of "Good News," the chief picture atr the Majestic Theatre this -week, which programme commenced yesterday. It is a clever musical comedy transferred to the screen, and with an interesting and amusing theme 'based on college life, it is really firstclass entertainment. It is intensely amusing. but it* chief attraction lies undoubtedly in the splendid collection of melodies which the play emßddies. The dialogue is clever throughout, -and adds to the fun. The success of the show depends to a largeextent oh tlio cleverness of; Bessie L6ve and Gus Hhv und they are really clever. The former is a' comedienne of outstandlng ability, and she infuses a tremendous amount of life into her work. Shy is not shy, but he is most laughable in a role to which lie is admirably suited. Jl?!* entertainment of the lighter kind i« n real cure for a fit of the blues.
