Administration for the rehabilitation of Australia are confused, and that the Labour Party is hopelessly divided. A former Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons, whose firmness surprised the Party engineers behind the Government, is reported to have said that he is both " disturbed:' and disgusted." If that ia the toood of reasonable men within the Labour Party, then it is not surprising that many people: outside would like to see the quick dismissal of a weak Ministry; and it seems probable that the best hope for Australia is the growing will of the people to be led boldly on a hard, straight road.
