The Corinthic, en route from Southampton, has reported that she expects to arrive at Wellington at 4 a.m. on Tuesday -next. Slie will land her passengers there, and will sail in the afternoon tor Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff to discharge ter eargo. THE CANADIAN VICTOR. The Canadian National Steamships vessel Canadian Victor is due at Auckland to-day from Montreal. She is due at I-iyttelton, via Wellington, on December 19th, and is to sail the following day for Timaru and Dunedin, returning thence to Wellington and Auckland. She is timed to sail from Auckland on December 31st for New York, Boston, and Halifax. ,

PHOSPHATES FOR LYTTELTON. The Weir Line steamer Myrtlebank was expected to leave Nauru Island on Saturday with phosphates for dischargo at Lyttelton •and Fort Chalmers. She is due at.Lyttelton on December 18th. ENTON FROM NEW YORK. The A. and A. Line has received cabled advice that their chartered motor-ship Enton left New York on December 2nd - and Newport News on December 4th for Apckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is now due at Auckland on January 10th. THE MAUI POMARE. The Government motor-ship Maui Pomare left Wellington on .Monday night for Auckland, to complete discharge of her fruit cargo. She is scheduled to leave Auckland again on Tuesday for Niue Island and Apia, to load for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland, and is due here about January sth. PERSONAL. Mr A. P. Walker has relieved Mr R. Phillips as chief engineer on the John. Captain F. Ogilvie is in command of the Raranga, which is due at Wellington on Saturday from Liverpool, via. Scales, .Ltd., advise that their chartered steamer Benmohr left Port Pirie on Saturday for Port Kerabla for bunkers. She will proceed from there to Picton, where she is due on Wednesday to commence loading wodl. She will later complete at Tolaga Bay, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, and is scheduled to sail finally from the .last-named port on January Gth for Dunkirk, London, and Hull, via the Panama Canal. NOTICES TO MARINERS. The Marine Department advise that the character of the low-level light at Pencarrow Head will be altered in January, 1931, from fixed white with red sectors to' group-flashing white with red sectors having three flashes every 12 seconds, thus: l'Mash, .Isec; eclipse, I.ssec; flash, lsec; eclipse, I.ssec; flash, 2sec; eclipse, ssec. The elevation of the light will be increased from 32ft (9mß) to 60ft (18m3), and the visibility to 15 miles. The sectors will remain unaltered. , . , ,_ .
