VIOLIN RECITAL TO-NIGHT. To-niffht in the Radiant Hall Mies Mignon Frey will pivo her one and only recital m Christchurch. The programme to be presented is a most interesting one, and contains composition from the pens of worldfamous composers. Her principal numbers are "Sonata in A Maior" (Cesar Franek) and "Concerto in D Minor" (WieniawskO. The second part of her programme will be devoted to number* of a popular character. The "Svdney Morning Herald, writing of Miss Frey's playing, savs: "The recital was made especially enjoyable by her charming playing and breadth and warmth of tone, and shfi showed excellent command of technique. A large audience enthusiastically recalled the violinist." . . The box plan is at The Bristol.
