YESTERDAY'S TRANSACTIONS. There was a moderate turnover 011 call yesterday, with the bulk of the business in bank shares and British Tobaccos. Lyell (cum div.). Bank of Australasia shares realised £9 15s <3d, market closing £9 10s buyers, £9 16s 6d sellers. Commercial Bank of Australia shares had dealings at 15s lOd, and there were f " rt, ' cr sellers at 15s 9d, buyers at los ©«• National Bank of New Zealand shares, cum dividend, were firm, with business and buyers at £5 ss, sellers at £5 Tfj 6d. Bank of New Zealand shares eased to 50s 9d, sellers staying in at that price, buyers at 50s 6d. Miscellaneous. Goldsbrough, Morts relapsed to _j i,s sd, market closing 19s 3d buyers, IJ S 6d' sellers. New Zoaland ting Company, 10s paid shares, were fractionally weaker at 2s, and more were offered at Is 9d, buyers at Is 3d. New Zealand Breweries shares eased to 40s 3d sellers, 39s 7d buyers. British Tobaccos, on an active market, changed hands at 30s Id, 30s. and 2'Js lOd, and there were further sellers at 29s 10d, buyers at 29s 9d. Mt.
