There were 22,405 gaol sentences out of 54,05-j convictions, and 507 charges of corruption among Prohibition Enforcement officials -were investigated. In a very large proportion of cases the charges -were either absolutely disproved, or dropped for lack of evidence. Two million gallons of whisky teese legally manufactured for medicinr.! purposes.
