VICTORIAN CABINET DECISIONS. (Received December 9th, 11.30 p.m.) MELBOUBNE, December 9. The Victorian Labour Cabinet commuted the death sentence on Richard Buckley for the murder of Mr Berriam to life imprisonment. The death sentence on Herbert Donovan, aged 19, for the murder of Mrs Little, was commuted to imprisonment for 15 years, after which he will be detained during the Governor's pleasure.
