British experts aro giving close attention to a heavy oil engine of revolutionary design, the idea of which was originated by a New Zealand c-ngineer, and the design completed by Mr Joseph Maine, designer of Captain Malcolm Campbell's Bluebird racing car. , Messrs Watson and Arthur, also New Zealanders, have returned to place before a New Zealand syndicate the final plans for production in England. The "Morning Post's" expert, in a long review cf the design, savs that if it reaches expectations practically all motor-users will be paying royalties to the New Zealand engineers. It is so nearly standard in design that ordinary interna] combustion engines are easily convertible.
