LAND SETTLEMENT.
<9 (press associatiox telkgeam.) ROTORUA, December 8. The lion. E. A, Ransom, Sir Apirana Ngata, Mr I<\ D. Thompson, and Mr A. D. Park, after a visit to lands adjacent to the Urewera country, arrived in Rotorua on Saturday niglit. It is understood that the mission was in furtherance of land settlement in the district. Sir Apirana Ngata lett for Gisborno yesterday. Mr Ransom leaves for Wellington this afternoon.
