The report of the Oxfnrd University's Exploration Club's expedition for the investigation of the flora and fauna of the tropical forests of British Guiana states: The party was in tilt bush for four months and secured more new specimens than any previous expedition. Bird observers had posts on tree tops 126 feet high, and etymologists 105 feet h'gh. The collections brought back include more than 10.000 insects, 500 miscellaneous invertebrates, 87 mammals, and over 200 reptiles and birds.
