Ihe aviator, Flight-Lieutenant C. W. Hill, having received from Australia tho spare parts to repair his aeroplane, and the folding boat from AirCommodore Kingsford Smith, expects to leave Sourabaya for Australia to-day. [Flight-Lieutenant C. W. Hill left Lngland oil October sth in his own iloth machine to spend part of his leave with his parents in Queensland. Although he encountered several delays, he took nine days to reach Rangoon; As he was leaving on tho final stage from Atamboea to Darwin on October loth, his machine ove' -aed. Tho flyer escaped injury, but the aeroplane was oadly damaged. Air-Commodore Kings, ford Smith, who noticed the wrecked machine, returned to see if help were required. A Nottingham business man has chartered the fastest available air-taxi and lias left Hanwell in an attempt to reach the Canaries in three and a half days, where his father is seriously ill.
