VIOLIN KECITAL. Mias Frey's one and only violin recital will be given in tht? Kadiant Hall on Thursday next, at 8 p.m. Criticising hoi performance, a Sydney evening paper says, "The pure tone of tho violin was beard with keen pleasure and the technique of tho player waa cleverly demonstrated in the difficult Bach Cb aconr.c. " Her programme for Thursday includes the following numbers: —Sonata in A Major (Cesar Fianck), Concerto in D minor (Wieniawsiki), Moto Perpetuo (Ries), Chanson Arabe (Himsky-Korßakov-Kreislor), Turkish March (Bfethoven-Auer), Viennese Air (GaertnerKreisler), Scherzo Tarantelle (Heubergor-Kioi-dor), Zigeunerwieaen (Sarasate). Mifla Frey will bo supported at the piano by her sister Miss Carmen Frey, a very talented pianist Tho box plan is at The Bristol.
