DROUGHT RELIEF.

PRESIDENT'S PROPOSAL DISREGARDED. BILL FOR GREATER SUM APPROVED. (L'XITKD PRESS ASSOCIATION —BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH —COPYRIGHT.) (Received December 7th, 5.5 p.m.) WASHINGTON, December 6. All semblance of bi-partisan Congressional accord with President Hoover vanished when the Agricultural Committee unanimously approved of a 60,OCX).000 dollar drought relief programme in disregard of the 25,000,000 dollar Administration proposal. Senator McNary, chairman of the committee, announced that he would report the 60,000,000 dollar measure to the Senate on December Bth for a prompt passage. Meanwhile it is foreseen that the passage of this and other contemplated Bills will apparently increase the year's Treasury deficit from 180.000,000 dollars contemplated in President Hoover's Budget to 330,000,000.
