The Bt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, on his final day of farewells, called on Mr Kamsay Mac Donald, placed a wreath on the Westminster Abbey tablet to the Empire's million dead, and interviewed Sir Ernest Harvey, DeputyGovernor of the Bank of England. Mr Forbes, in a final statement, paid a tribute to the hospitality shown him throughout Great Britain and Ireland. He said though the Imperial Conference decisions had not gone as far as he had hoped, some important decisions were reached on many undecided questions. He considered the personal contacts made with public and commercial leaders most valuable. New Zealand sold the bulk of her products to Great Britain, and, as a matter of sentiment, gave her preference th.-ough Customs, and desired the fullest measure of preference in return. He highly appreciated the goodwill New Zealand and her products enjoyed in Great Britain.
