The first issue of a school magazine at the 'VV est Cliristcliurcli District High School has just been published. It is called "The Westonian," and is splendidly produced. The West Cliristcliurcli School is 72 years old, and it is apparently tlie desire to give a means of expression to the spirit of the school wliicli has brought the magazine into existence. One of its objectives undoubtedly will be to encourage original on the part of pupils, and in its first issue it succeeds to a large extent in attaining that objective. It has been well compiled, and its items of news and articles are interesting. Illustrations arc also a feature.
