SHIPPING NOTES.
The John in expected from th& south thic morning to load for Wellington, Wanganvi, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Waipiata is due to-morrow from Auckland, and Wellington, and sails on Monday for Dunedin and Timaru. The Waimariuo arrived yesterday morning from Timaru. She is to tail to-day for Wellington and Auckland. The Uotorua is to arrive at Lyttolton today from Port Chalmers to cor.iplcto discharge and to load. The Calm is to tako In cargo at this port on Tuesday for Wellington and Wanganui. The Wingatui is expected on Wednesday from Oamaru. She loads for New Plymouth and Auckland, and sails via Welling ton. The Kurow is due here about Thursday from Adelaide and Melbourne, via Auckland. New Plymouth, Tarakohe. and Wellington. The Kaimiro, due here on Tuesday from Wellington, discharges cement from Portland The Parera is timed to load here on Wednesday for Hast Coast ports of North Island. The Golden Coast should arrive here tomorrow from Wellington Vo discharge cargo from Los Angeles and to loud. She sails later for Timaru and Dunedin. The Kalingo is due here on December 18th from Dunedin to discharge cargo from Coff's Harbour. The Gale sailed from Lyttelton last night for southern ports, and is duo back about Tuesday to load for Wellington, Picton, find Wanganui. The Wainui is expected to urrive here in Friday from Timaru, to load for Napier and Gisborne. The Foxton is expected about Saturday next, from Foxton to load for the same port The Storm has completed her overhaul, and is to sail to-day for Port Craig. She i* due back at Lyttelton, via Dunedin and Ti mnru, on Friday next to load for Wellington and Wanganui. The Tongariro, which is loading meat and dairy produce here, is to sail this afternoon for New Plymouth for further loading. The Government lighthouse steamer Mnlai was expected to return to Wellington yesterday after her first trip to the northern lights.
