VAGRANTS SENTENCED.
STRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM ) WELLINGTON, December 5. Two Maoris, Percy Greaves, aged 26, and Matenga Tukareaho, aged 32, were charged with stealing clippers and a razor ou leaving a barber's shop. They wore also charged with being idle and disorderly persons. Greaves was convicted of the theft, and both of vagrancy. On this count they were given three mouths' imprisonment, Greaves' concurrent with three- months for theft. It was stated that- they had been going about the town drinking, and both had records.
