♦ ■ " HOME-MADE AEROPLANE WRECKED. IPBES6 ASSOCHTHMT TELXGEJjM AUCKLAND. December 5- - Two young Aucklanders, Ernest and - Arthur Everson, who last year co»~ - _ structed an aeroplane, which cmsbM ; in the first attempt to fly it, jester- _ day attempted to get into the air with a second machine of their own obstruction. After taxi-ing along Murnrai Beach - and gathering a speed of 50 miles, the left wine collapsed, and the machine' was completely wrecked. The pilot, Ernest, who was nnoonscious for three-quarters of an hour, was considerably bruised. His brother ~- was hurled through the side of th<9 fuselage and also bruised.
