AT A CITY AUCTION MART.—Good stocks of strawberries were displayed in the fruit shops at Christchurch yesterday. An auctioneer selling strawberries on behalf of a St. Martins grower during the morning.
ADDITIONS TO THE TEACHERS' TRAINING COLLEGE.—Good progress is being made with the additions to the Teachers' Training College at Christ church. Most of the stonework is in position, and the framework for the slate roof is nearing completion.
