WAGE REDUCTION.
DANNEVIRKE COUNTY COUNCIL'S DECISION. (WtE33 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DANNEVIRKE, December 4. Economy measures were considered bv the Dannevirke County Council today. It was decided to reduce the salaries of the engineer and clerk by •?0 per tent. Other reductions will alfoct the forema a, bridge foreman, and drivers. All take eflect on JanU It was also deciued that preference of employment be given to married men with specified exceptions. No men owners of propertv will be employed on the Council's outside staff.
