BROADSIDING AT MONICA PARK.
CANTERBURY AND OTAGO TEAMS TO MEET. Indications aro that the Monica. Park Stadium will be filled to its utmost capacity on Saturday r.ight, when the Canter" bury and Otago bro-idaidinc teams will meet in a series of races. This contest is the first of a programme of interprovincial contests to enable the selectors to choose the best New Zealand riders, .to represent the dominion in the test with England's touring team. The Canterbury riders are going exceedingly well this year, and in a practice on Wednesday the fast-eat time of the season was recorded. The Otago representatives will have to be very clever and «pcedy to win. although the visiting team includes several well-known speedsters Patrons are invited to purchase their programmes in the City to-day, and to enter for a competition described therein.
