MR OSCAR GARDEN'S MACHINE DAMAGED.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAM.) INVEItCARGILL, December 4. Mr Oscar Garden arrived here at 6 o'clock this evening, two hours behind schedule, 111 a Aloth aeroplane belonging to the Otago Aero Club. The delay, it is stated, was due to a mishap to his own machine while taking-off at Mosgiel. He was met by officials of the Southland Aero Club and representatives of the City Council, and was accorded a reception by the Aero Club this evening. To-morrow morning he w-'l be given a civic reception, and then he returns north.
