VARIETY CONCERT.
BURNS MEMORIAL HALI. SCHEME. A roncerl and variety entertainment in aid o£ the Burns Memorial Hall, arranged by Miss Ina Bruce, was given at the Scottish Society's Hall last cveni&g. Tho concert was followed by a dance, and was assisted by Bert Ijamport'a Band. The iturns wore us follows:—Overture, Bert Lamport'*} Band; international reel, junior pupila; Spaninh dance, Miss N. Ohifsholm; mllitaire dance, Misses J. I>urio and llcency ; monologue, Messrs Parragh and Cummin*; Russian dance, Southbrldgo pupils; sonp, Miss Dickson; tap ballet, senior pupils; clog dance, Miss J. Dickson and It. Bolmer; song, Mr Bruce; dainty eight, fling, and military march, Southbridgo pupils; duct, Messrs Lawrence and Anderson; gipsy ballet, springtime ballet, and Spanish ballet, senior pupils; Russian dance, Miss K. Walton; hornpipe, Mr J>. Bruce; duet, Happiness Pair; song, Mr Bruce; jockey, babies; Mian TI. Neil; Scanu Triubhias, Miami* Walker and Noi); song, Mr Hood; skoteh, Mrs Lawrence and Mr O. Lawrence; duet, Humphrey boys; grand finale, soloist, Alis:* Dickson.
