YESTERDAY'S TRANSACTIONS. Recorded dealings on call yesterday were restricted to a few stocks, and the volume of business done was below the average. Transactions, exclusive of vestibule business, included: £SOO Springs Ellesmere Power 5£ per cent., 1935. (14 Bank of Australasia. 800 Comm. Bank of Aust. 20 E., S., and A. Bank. 20 National Bank of Australasia (£5 paid). jOO N.Z. Guarantee Corporation. 400 British Tobacco. 100 Mt. Lyell (cum div.). Springs Ellesnicro Power 54 per cent-., l!»35 Debentures changed hands at £OB 3 os. Bank of Australasia shares dropped to £9 10s, buyers staying in at that pi-ice, sellers at £lO. Commercial Bank of Australia shares had dealings at prices ranging from 16s 4d to lGs Id, buyers staying in at tho lower figure, sellers at lbs 2d. English, Scottish, and Australian Bank shares eased to £5, and more were offered at that price, buyers at; £4 10s. National Bank of Australasia £5 paid shares, fell to £."» 3s, market closing :£5 2s 6d buyers, £5 0s Od sellers. I'nion Bank of Australia shares were weaker with sellers at £9 Bs, buvers at £9. Buyers of Bank of New South Wales shares moved up to £2B 7s (id, sellers ;it £2O TO*. Miscellaneous. Uoldsbrough, Morts, curii dividend, were stronger with buyers at -'ls (id, sellers at 22s 6d. New Zealand Guarantee Corporation shares were fractionullv weaker at 7s, closing quotations 7s buyers, 7s 2d sellers. Staples Brewery shares were weaker with sellers at 39s 3d, buyers at 38s 3d. British Tobaccos dropped to dealings at 30s 2d and 30s, and there were further buyers at 30s, sellers at 30s Od. Mt. I/yells, cum dividend moved up to 20s 3d, buyers staying in at that figure, sellers at 20s 7d. There was a closer market for Whitcombc and Tombs shares, which were quoted 06s Od buyers, GBs (id sellers.
