Farmers in the vicinity of Paraparaumu for some time have been suffering from the attentions of a vandal. One farmer, W. Moivbray, had several ea as of cream taken from his dairy and emptied into an adjacent stream- while another, P. Beere, had a lar"e garden of tomatoes and strawberries practically ruined. These acts going on spasmodically for about two years. Other wanton acts of u-hirh the farmers have been victims include the cutting of sheep's throats—one a l""i™ ram was killed Mating alight of haystacks, and cutting «'E fences. 1 n one case sevS |icks'of gelignite were found under a 'house.—Press Association.
