SWIMMING.
CLUB FOR BECKENHAM PROPOSED.
The Beckcnham School baths wero th® result of muoh strenuous effort and enthusiasm on the p-art of the School Committee and local residents a few years ago. The children of the school still enjoy to the utmost the use of the baths, which are in excellent order, but there is no swimming club in Beckenham at the present time. -The School Committee has called a meeting for Friday evoning to ascertain the possibilities of forming a now club.
