CIVIO THEATRE. THURSDAY and SATURDAY, THIS WEEK. The Concert Programme to be given Sn the Civic Theatre on Thursday and Saturday next promises to be one of the most successful yet held by the Society. A selection of very lovely part-songs has been under rehearsal under the capabie direction of .Madame Ottlee, and the Chorus will give a good account of itself at the Concert. The Society will introduce a very young: performer as a p.anoforte soloist. This young player is only 13 years old, and was Silver Medallist (Intermediate Division) for New Zealand last year, and Gold Medallist (Senior Division) for New Zealand this year. After hearing Joan Boniface play, the Committee unanimously decided to ask this little girl to play at this Concert. The Programme is a well-assorted one* and contains music grave and gay. A number of the Part-Songs will be sung for the first time, and the 6nal chorus will be that rousing one from Faust, "The Soldiers* Chorus." The Box Plan is open at Chas. Begg and Company.
