The Port Waikato is expected from Dunedin on December sth to load for Lyttelton, Whangarei, Tauranga, Dargaville, and One liun 'ra-. Tho Gale is expected from Dunedin about December Sth to take cargo for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wangnnii. The Calm is due from Oamaru about December Bth to load for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. Tho Kanna is due from Dunedin about December 9th to discharge coal. The Canadian Victor is dne from Lyttelton about December 20th to discharge and to load for Amnricftn port?. She will proceed to Dunedin about December 22nd.

The Shaw, Savill, and Albion fiteamer Ra-ranga is due at Auckland 011 Friday from Liverpool. She will discharge at Auckland Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and thej load at Wanganui. Wellington, Gisborne, Opua, and Auckland. She is to sail from Auckland on January 15th for London, via Panama.
VESSEL IN DISTRESS. (PKBSS ASSOCIATION miSKIX.) AUCKLAND, December 2. Tho Auckland police have been informed that an S.O.S. message was received at Thames this morning from the Hedwig, stating that she was sinking fast. (PHXSS ASSOCIATION TELE G BAH.) WELLINGTON, December 2. The secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department received the following radio message:—"6.3o a.m. to G. 50 a.m. —Following heard on short waves: —'5.0.5., Hedwig, I'ratas Ileef, K.' Pratas Beef is off Hong-Kong."
