ST. SAVIOUR'S ORPHANAGES.
TO THE EDITOR OF THE PBESB Sir —Recently the St. Saviour's Orphanages have had a successful sale of work. With your permission I would like to bring before you and your readers the following recent re'port from an English paper of the vvork of Muller's Orphanage Bristol, England, which has always been carried on on faith lines, i.e., without nskintr man for one penny. As fet. Saviour's is a Christian organisation, whv not trv the same method of absolute dependence upon God?— Yours, "supporter OF ST. SAVIOUR'S ORPHANAGES. December 2nd, 1930. [Enclosure.] The "work of faith and labour of love" represented by the words "Muller's Orphanage " ha-a a deservedly warm place in the affections of many of God's believing people. The ninetv-first report of the proceedings of the institution has just reached us. Therein the present director, Mr Alfred Edwin Green, recounts the faithfulness and mercies of God through another year, a year memorable for the lamented death of the late director. Dr. G. ■ F. Bergin. Chapter one is headed "By faith they passed through" and describes the loss sustained by Dr. Eergin'a death. It is related to the glory of God how his personal estate valued for probate amounted to tut £307 10s, and that ha made a practice of giving away about onefourth of hi* inoom*.
